TOP 5 Video Conferencing Tips to Remember....

Interact with All Attendees...  Don't forget about the remote sites.   Try asking something like:  "In Weyburn, What do you think?"  It is very important that all sites feel involved.

Speak Clearly and Project Your Voice...  Be sure to speak as clearly as you can but be careful that you are not shouting into the microphone.

Repeat Questions and Don't Forget the Delay...  Clarify that all sites are able to hear and understand what is being said at regular intervals.  There is a slight delay; ao make your statement and ask a site to respond.

Try Not to Look at the Screen Behind You...  If you have a PowerPoint presentation, the remote sites cannot see you point at the screen; they only see you turn away from the camera.  If you need to point something out, use the mouse.

Have a Clear Sign-off...  Be very clear verbally that the session has ended and have a visible sign-off signal; such as a wave goodbye.
